Bolivar - Belicosos Finos
This torpedo is a powerhouse with finesse. Beneath its shiny, silky shell is cinnamon and nutmeg spices and a rich tobacco core. Smoke after a big meal.
This cigar seems to be the best consistent, full-bodied cigar that Cuba has ever produced. This makes it the most sought-after cigar amongst elite Cuban cigar lovers.
The cigar was named after a man known as Simon Bolivar. Simon Bolivar is known to have to lead the liberation effort of South America from Spain. He can be said to be the Southern American centre’s “George Washington”.
It comes with a fairly heavy ring gauge which gives a huge smoke and the tapered head concentrates the smoke before it reaches the throat. This results in an earthy smoke, loaded with minerals, raw cocoa and coffee bean. The tapered head additionally puts an excitement to the cigar which is already full-bodied.
Bolivar Belicoso Finos is really strong and earthy and it presents in wooden slide-lid cabinets and paper-lined dress boxes. It comes in a package of traditional dress boxes (has a March 2015 production stamp on it) that contains 13 cigars on the top row and then 12 cigars on the bottom row. This particular packaging gives the cigar a form of squashy and box-pressed look that cannot be gotten in a cabinet.
The cigar is a unique one and it gives great pleasure to lovers of rigid, tasty cigars.
